I’m adding a new feature to the Speak Happiness Blog — homework!
Okay, not really, but it occurs to me that there are simple things we can each do every day to make the world a happier place, and we may not be thinking of them all the time, so every Wednesday, you’ll get a simple exercise from me.
The beauty of doing this is that it is a net multiplier — it will make you happy doing it and it will make the people who you share it with happy as well.
I think this concept needs its own graphic, so here is a cheerful picture from my photo files.
Every time you see it, let it remind you to share happiness with the world!
Assignment: What kinds of videos do you love on YouTube? Happy elephants? Stand-up comics? Cats falling off tables? Right now, take 5 minutes to find one that is the creme-de-la-creme of your favorites, and share it with at least three people who you know will also love it. Don’t just post it on Facebook. If you want to do it that way, either send it as a private message or post it to their walls. Just make sure that it’s something the other person WILL enjoy (don’t be inappropriate), and let them know you were thinking about them.
That’s it! Stay tuned next week for more!
And let me know how this one went.
